Submissions should be made as follows:

Format: PDF or Word;

Length: 15 pages max (or 2Mb) if more, please email to submissions@constitution.ie;

Layout: Pages and paragraphs to be numbered. Annexes should not to include pictures, annual reports, etc.;

Submissions from organisations should include:

  • Details of the organisation, including letterhead, name, address and contact details;
  • A brief description of the organisation and its main activities; and
  • An Executive Summary paragraph of the key points of the submission.

Title of Submission/Comment: This field to contain the title of your submission or the subject of your ‘Comment for Publication’.

Comment for Publication: This field to contain a brief summary of your attached submission or to make a brief proposal or express views on a particular topic.

Any text in the Comment box will be made accessible to the public in addition to the attached submission.

Please Note:

  1. A separate submission should be made for each category listed. Single submissions covering a number of topics will be archived under the category ‘Other’;
  2. The name and county location of submitters will be published alongside comments and submissions; and
  3. Submissions that contain abusive, offensive or inflammatory language will be rejected. The Chairman reserves the right to reject any submission which he considers to be inappropriate.
  4. Videos cannot be embedded in a submission
